Where I’m at
I’ve impulsively (kind of) ended up in Raleigh, N.C., this weekend for Hopscotch with Emily and Anastassia. It took forever to get down here yesterday (only going for two of the three days because school/work), but once you get past Richmond, it’s a nice drive. Last night I caught parts of Jesus and Mary Chain — I didn’t know seeing “Just Like Honey” was on my bucket list but I added it and then crossed it off — Azure Ray in a church, Zola Jesus and Yo La Tengo. Big Troubles canceled (lames) and I don’t know what I’m going to see today, but yeah, Raleigh is a nice city.
