Carles, How Indie Finally OFFICIALLY Died: The Broken Indie Machine.
I stopped reading HRO for a long, long time because Carles stopped, you know, writing or he wrote only about stuff I didn’t care that much about (like Grimes), but I’m really glad I took the time to read his post today because it really highlighted lots of stuff I’ve been having angst over recently. This sentence from his opening took me right away because I see so much of myself in those lines. I see a lot of it in other people, but I see it in myself. It’s not a good thing, but it’s not a bad thing either.
